Today, during two stageevents at Jump Festa at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Near Tokyo, Bandai Namco showcased two matches of the upcoming online battle game Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker.
The first match is shown from the perspective of all four players, using established characters against a team of custom avatars that can be created within the game. Funnily, the player using Naruto (who also was the one the camera focused to) was really keen on falling into the chasm to his death.
The second match shows each player in full screen, just alternating between them. Once more it’s a team of the established heroes from the anime against custom characters.
The gameplay mode is basically a capture-the-flag made more challenging by the pitfalls of the environment combined with the attacks by the enemy team.

'Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker' Shows Off Co-op Story Mode In Latest Gameplay Trailer

Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker features beloved Naruto characters and teams from the series, including Naruto, Sasuke, and Team 7. The game brings a brand-new graphic style with vivid colors and a dynamic third-person ninja gameplay style that enables players to take advantage of the verticality of the arena environment with vertical running and jumping to elevated areas. Shoot 3 games. Players can choose to play co-op with friends and lead teams to victory to be the top ninjas online.
Characters are split up into four roles: Attack, Ranged, Defense, and Heal. Teams that utilize these four types of characters will be formidable opponents on the battlefield. Players can choose between existing characters from the Naruto To Boruto universe, or create a custom character for the first time in a Naruto title!
The new video highlights the game’s co-op story mode, giving players the opportunity to undertake missions together and level up with their ninja squad.
Co-op story mode includes multiple mission types to choose from including:
- Searching – Avoid traps and obstacles to obtain a lost item.
- Body Guard – Players must protect the designated ally and bring them safely to an area of the map.
- Extermination – Take down multiple enemies that appear on the map as a team.
For the first time in the Naruto series, the Avatar System is available!
Players will be able to customise their own ninja with different outfits. To become the strongest they will need to master their techniques, unleashing different skills to win the fight in the Ninja League 4 vs 4 battle mode. Boruto, Shikamaru, Choji and 4 different shinobi avatars with different abilities join the fight in vertical maps such as the Hidden Cloud Village.
